Steve in his fourth year at IU has been appointed Associate Professor working with the jazz and percussion departments. His duties include teaching an innovative class called Rhythm Section Style and Analysis which brings together all of the rhythm players in the school to discuss and perform important rhythm section styles. In addition to teaching a packed drumset studio, Steve is also coordinating the IU Jazz Combo Program and coaching the big bands.
